Plesetsk, in northern Russia, is one of the busiest launch sites in the world, but almost all of it is military. Do not plan to watch from the ground: the area and the town beside it are closed, and we know of no authorised public viewpoint.

Plesetsk is a Ministry of Defence cosmodrome inside a closed administrative town (Mirny). It has no public viewing area, and entering the restricted area without authorisation is prohibited.
